This weekend it was the village school fete.

Mum’s Operation
Mum goes into hospital this week so i’ll be on tender hooks while she has her surgery. So i’ll not be doing a lot of photography this week.
Off with the Roof
The pub refurbishment is moving along, with the good weather they have started on replacing the old roof.
Riverside Walk
Having a week off meant we had an excuse to take Timmy for a good walk so we decided to have a long walk by the canal into Lincoln.
A week at home
We now have a week at home to work on the garden. We will be making the odd trip into town but mostly it will be a mix of gardening, DIY and enjoying the delights of the village.
Village Pub Rebuild
The new owners of our village pub are taking it from strength to strength. One of the issues is that the bar area is rather small, and with us having Timmy the Greyhound the bar is the only area we can go into if we want our hound with us. So this month they have started on a extension.

Lincoln Knights
A couple of years ago Lincoln had the idea of ‘The Barron’s trail’. An exploration for tourists around Lincoln to find the painted Barrons.
This year we are having the Knights trail, where you can wonder around Lincoln finding the painted themed Knights. Linked to this, this weekend is the celebration of the Battle of Lincoln. A key date in British history.

Time for a Treat
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we worked hard with the painting of the kitchen. So for lunch yesterday we visited the local tea room. While Caroline had tea, I had hot chocolate, with cream and marshmallows.
